Full Text Search

Our new site includes back issues of the Journal of the History of Dentistry, as well as articles in our AAHDwiki, and other uploaded resources for our members. All these resources are searchable via the search box on the right-hand side of the page.

Enter your search term in the search box and press Enter or click the "Search" button.

Please note: Our online library is extensive, and your search may take a moment to complete.

Search Results and Advanced Search

After clicking the "Search" button, the Search page will appear. This page features several options. At the top of the page, you have the ability to refine your search by category: whether you are looking for a particular AAHD Member from our database; an article in our AAHDwiki; an article in a JHD back issue, etc.

You may also refine your search by specifying a specific phrase, or by including many required keywords.

The Search Results portion of the page shows the results of your previous search, with the keyword you used highlighted in bold in a brief summary. You may click the purple title link of each search result for more information.

The bottom of the Search Results shows how many pages of results in your search, and allows you to browse through all pages of your search results
